TorrentLurk is a torrent search engine that allows you to search for a torrent from the biggest torrent websites in the world such as The Pirate Bay, IsoHunt, and MiniNova. The website works with a simple but clever script that sends the search results from the torrent websites and then prints out the fetched search results from the torrent websites on TorrentLurk.
TorrentLurk wanted a new design and it had to be very simple but with a web 2.0 look. The whole website is coded and designed in HTML(S) and CSS and is using only one image which is the logo. TorrentLurk wanted bright and delight full colors meaning I had to go with light blue, orange, and light grey. The orange top bar and the light blue stripe behind the search bar giving it a stylish look and feel. Besides the search script I have also implanted a simple JavaScript that loads the content from the pages in the menu bar into the index.html. That way when clicking a link in the menu bar the browser won't refresh allowing the user to not lose his or her search results when opening a new page.
